Thank You, your application has been received
Your rental application has been submitted. There is one more thing to consider if you have, or intend to have, a pet at the property.
Help Us Avoid Delays, submit your pet request now
If you intend to keep a pet at the property, we strongly recommend submitting your pet request now. This allows the request to be reviewed alongside your application and may help avoid unnecessary delays if your application is approved.
Submit Your Pet Request
Under Victorian renting laws, renters must request consent from the rental provider before keeping a pet at the property. Pet consent is assessed separately from your rental application and cannot be unreasonably refused.
Submitting the request now means we can progress the process early, rather than waiting until after approval and delaying the move-in process.
A Smoother Process, with fewer delays
Already Have a Pet?
Submit the pet request now so it can be reviewed as early as possible.
Planning to Get a Pet?
Consent should be requested before the pet is kept at the property.
No Pet?
No further action is required. Your application will continue through the usual process.
Important
Keeping a pet at the property without consent may be a breach of the rental agreement. This may result in formal action, including a notice being issued and, where required, an application to VCAT seeking orders about the pet.
Submitting your pet request early is the simplest way to keep things moving smoothly if your application is approved.
