Why This Matters

A good home isn't always a good rental.

An investor can fall in love with a property at an open home, only to discover after settlement that it cannot yet be advertised, requires unbudgeted work, or that the rental figure they relied upon was never realistic.

These issues are not always apparent during a brief Saturday morning inspection - particularly for investors purchasing from interstate or overseas, those working with a buyer's agent, or buyers who simply want an experienced property manager's independent opinion before committing.

Victorian rental requirements also apply earlier in the leasing process, including minimum standards that must be met before a property can be advertised, annual smoke alarm checks, and additional safety and energy-efficiency requirements.

A Rent Ready Review helps identify these matters before purchase, so you can make an informed decision, understand what needs to be addressed and hit the ground running as soon as the property settles.
